Frequently Asked Questions
How do I use fancy fonts in Rise of Kingdoms?
Type your text in the "Fancy Font Converter" box above, then click "Insert" next to any style you like. The Unicode characters will be added directly to your alliance description — no special tags needed!
Do you have an email/mail formatter for Rise of Kingdoms?
Yes! Check out our RoK Mail Formatter — it's designed specifically for alliance mail messages with 24 ready-to-use templates for rallies, KvK, MGE, events and more.
What's the difference between this and the Mail Formatter?
The Mail Formatter is for alliance mail messages (limited to ~2,000 characters). This Alliance Screen Formatter is for your alliance's welcome/description screen that visitors see — it supports color gradients, has more fancy font options, and box-drawing characters for creating visual layouts.
Why don't some special characters show in-game?
Rise of Kingdoms supports most Unicode characters, but some emojis and very obscure symbols may not render. Stick to the fancy fonts and symbols provided here — they've been tested to work in-game.
How wide is the alliance screen in-game?
The alliance description box is approximately 500-550 pixels wide. Keep this in mind when creating separator lines or box layouts — very long lines may wrap unexpectedly. Test in-game and adjust as needed.
